Personal Gaming Preferences

That pretty much sums it up, but I'll try to expand a bit. I play Nintendo first party titles; always have and always will. When I was little, my cousin had Sega stuff, so I played Sega games back then, but never wanted to buy one because I liked my Nintendo more. Now his kids have had the Playstation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and a gaming PC. I've played all of those as well. I just keep coming home.
My favorite franchises are Zelda, Mario, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Yoshi spinoffs, Kid Icarus (more please!), Metroid, Star Fox (more please), and F-Zero (more please).
Platform of Choice
The ones with Zelda on them.
Again, really pretty straight-forward here. Outside of the first Playstation, I haven't been interested enough to buy anything outside of Nintendo. My favorite system of theirs is the Wii, though I suppose it would make sense to say then the Wii U is my favorite since it does everything the Wii does.
In order, I would rank the systems as follows: Wii/U, 3DS/DS, N64, SNES, NES, GameCube. (The Gameboy line never really hooked me).
Favorite Genre
Action Adventure, like Zelda.
I am so sorry if anyone expected any surprises here. I think even games like Mario Galaxy1/2/Super Mario 64 ventured out into this genre more than just platforming. Speaking of platforming, that would be my second favorite genre, with racing and fighting after that. I like games I really get to play, therefore I tend to shy away from RPGs and strategy games. That being said, I will play any game of any genre if it has Zelda, Mario, Kirby, etc. characters in it. I own Mario is Missing, so yeah.
