My Top 10 Singers of All-Time

Well hello all! Way past time for a blog, I'd say. And I'm not gonna babble about Zelda (just for a minute, don't worry).

So, ShotgunHoward posted his favorites, and has encouraged me to do the same. I decided to list my 10 personal favorite singers of all time (of all time). These 10 are the ones that I personally feel are the greats, the legends. It's a relatively lose list until the top 3, too; they're all amazing.

I don't expect anyone to be like, "Oh! I love that song, listen to it all the time", but these are my greats and maybe you'll discover something new (or...old, I guess).

#10 Louis Armstrong

Definitely a very unique voice, instantly recognizable, and addictive.

#9 Nat King Cole

A voice like butter.

#8 Perry Como

Perry is just great. His style is amazing (even ol' Dino took a bit from it) with a lot of power to back it up.

#7 Doris Day

Not to spoil the rest of the list, but, spoiler, I hold Doris Day as my favorite female singer ever.

#6 Sammy Davis, Jr.

I just feel like I'm going to explode when Sammy sings this song live. Or any song. So much power in such a little package, and so many different talents. A consummate entertainer.

#5 Ricky Nelson

Omg so hot, dem lips.... *ahem* Ricky's voice just gives me butterflies every time. He stands apart from Elvis, but he's in the same lovely vein. Elvis even said if he's the king, Ricky's the prince. Agreed.

#4 Bing Crosby

This is where modern music started, imho. Bing pioneered singing with a microphone, after all. Bing really is the ultimate. But there are three people I enjoy even more.

#3 Frank Sinatra

Frank's distinct phrasing and accent, his panache, and just his voice in general--all amazing. Plus, he's sexy without even being that physically attractive other than #demblueeyes. ...Cos...that...uh, I needed to share that, I guess. Sorry.

#2 Elvis Presley

AHHHHH OMG ELVIS OMG!!!!!! I think that sums it up for me. I love everything about Elvis.

#1 Dean Martin

I don't think I'm surprising anyone here. The bestest voice ever? Check? Handsomest man ever? Check. Plus, #demmanlyeyebrows. HA! Snuck that in. (Also, sexiest hands ever. Again, I'm sorry.) Honestly though, just watch that clip. He's so funny. And gorgeous. And just...everything wonderful :)

There we have it. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading :) Bonus, for funsies:
