The community blog theme this week is Favorite Video Game Music to gear up for the MyIGNVG Tourney. I can't say this is a definitive list, but I wanted to toss out some of my favorites. I chose all but exclusively from my four favorite games (Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and Super Mario Galaxy 2), so heads up to those expecting variety.
Smash Bros. Brawl -- Zelda Theme (Remix)
Love this one. So epic, and I think the remix just really fits Link well. (Also, that sexy Link thumbnail.)
Smash Bros. Brawl -- Ocarina of Time Medley
To keep from cluttering my list with OoT music (which would be easy to do), I chose this. I also just love how everything comes together here.
Twilight Princess -- Midna's Lament
So many songs from TP I could pick, so I'll use this one because it's a wonderful part in the game. (If the Ballad of Twilight wasn't just a howl song, it would be here, too)
Death Mountain -- Twilight Princess
I fell completely in love with this game at this point, so this one's special to me. Plus, GORONS!
Twilight Princess -- Don't Want You No More
This is just perfect for the game in general. It's lovely and sad, grows very dark and dramatic, then gets bright and triumphant. Perfect. (Also, again, that sexy Link thumbnail.)
Skyward Sword -- Skyloft
So pleasant.
Skyward Sword -- Romance

Skyward Sword -- Song of the Hero
I could just put the entire soundtrack for Skyward Sword on here.
Wind Waker -- The Legendary Hero
I like this one particularly for relating back to OoT.
Ocarina of Time -- Gerudo Valley
Obviously.
Too much Zelda? Pft, fine.
